Bio.

I am a 28-year-old Latin American with an MBA and 12 years of practical web development experience. I started building websites when I was just 16 years old after learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript online. Since then, I have built websites for: a small real estate firm, a few non-profits, Hachette Book Group, Rutgers University, Tisha Creative, and the National Basketball Association.

The World Wide Web has changed significantly in the past few years, so I have stayed current by continuously reading: A List Apart, CSS Tricks, Smashing Magazine, Tuts+, W2C Schools, and more. In addition, I have adopted best practices by learning from and using several frameworks such as: HTML5 Boilerplate, jQuery, Twitter Bootstrap, WordPress, and Zurb Foundation.

Interests

Travel - I've traveled through: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
Adventure Sports - I've been skydiving and kayaking. I want go scuba diving and whitewater rafting.
Languages - I can speak English, Spanish, and Italian. I'm planning on learning Portuguese and French, and I'm also really interested in body language.
Tech - I love technology (I'm a Mac), but it's getting harder and harder to keep up.
Business/Marketing - I have an MBA and a B.A. in Economics, so yeah...

Work.

Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to work on dozens of websites, some of which I am proud of, and others not so much... On the bright side though, I've learned something new from every website I've built, which is knowledge that I bring with me into every new project I take on. Below are a few samples of the projects I've been fortunate to work on over the past year to provide you with a sample of what I am capable of. While I have not designed any of these websites, I've built them entirely (with the exception of Firmsconsulting, which I partnered on).
